Research that asks better questions for autistic individuals and families

Research that asks better questions for autistic individuals and families.

We support research aimed at finding more objective methods to understand individual needs, accurately evaluate treatment benefits, and develop clear, effective approaches that can better guide families through their decisions with greater confidence and clarity.

WHAT WE'RE WORKING TOWARD

Turning observation into clearer, more useful insight.

Our research mission is to develop objective methods for evaluating treatment benefits in autistic children. We are interested in approaches that can make assessment and progress tracking more accessible, personalized, and practical for families and care teams.

  • Exploring sensor-based tools that may help capture and track progress over time
  • Supporting personalized treatment based on each individual's needs and responses
  • Studying interventions with treatment clinics to better understand outcomes in practice

FROM ASSESSMENT TO ACTION

Research should help families make sense of the next step.

Autism assessments and care planning are complex and time-consuming. We aim to develop research and technology to support informed decisions, from assessment to treatment tracking and planning.

Understand the individual

Gather information about strengths, needs, and everyday experiences .

Track meaningful change

Explore objective ways to document progress over time.

Inform about the plan

Use relevant information to support more tailored steps.

Keep families involved

Make research insights convenient for families to understand and use.

Collabration

Better research takes shared expertise.

We collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and partners to connect scientific inquiry with the lived realities of autistic individuals and their families. Our work includes collaboration with Dr. Elizabeth Torres’ Sensory Motor Integration Lab at Rutgers University through the Innovation and Research Fellowship Program.

PRACTICAL SUPPORT

Curiosity, rigor, and respect belong together.

We believe research should be thoughtful about what it measures and why it matters. Our goal is not to promise one answer for everyone, but to contribute to clearer, more individualized understanding that can support autistic people and the families who care for them.
