Creating more ways to learn, connect, and take part.
Akhil Autism Foundation supports autistic individuals and their families through community programs, educational resources, practical initiatives, and research-focused work.
IMPACT IN ACTION
Support can begin with a shared moment.
Impact is not one-size-fits-all. It may be a family finding a useful resource, a young person feeling more connected in a group activity, or an individual exploring a new skill at their own pace. AAF brings these moments together through programs shaped around learning, participation, and community.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION
Friendship grows through doing things together.
Care For a Friend is AAF’s volunteer-led social skills program. It gives autistic individuals opportunities to socialize in the community, learn skills, spend time with neurotypical buddies, and build friendships through shared activities.

Sessions take place once or twice a month, with volunteers and participants connecting through different activities.
ORIGIN
Making space for play, learning, and engagement.
Play In A Box is an AAF initiative featured as part of the foundation's resource distribution work in India. It reflects the foundation's commitment to helping families access practical materials that can support children's learning and engagement.
A small box can hold many possibilities: curiosity, connection, and time to play together.
